TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwired - Feb. 23, 2015) - 2176423 Ontario Ltd., a company controlled by Eric Sprott ("2176423") has filed an early warning report (the "Report") announcing that, on February 19, 2015, it acquired ownership and control over 21,652,500 common shares (the "Acquired Shares") of Starcore International Mines Ltd. (TSX:SAM) (the "Corporation") representing approximately 14.25% of the currently issued and outstanding common shares ("Shares") of the Corporation.
