Asda Money reveals that an estimated 37,500(1) amateur athletes, and elite sportsmen and women participated in the 2012 London Marathon and with high-profile figures such as Olympic gold medallist Mo Farah in attendance at this year's event(2) on April 21st; the 33rd London marathon could see a similar or greater turnout this year.
