Franklin Resources, Inc. Announces Preliminary Fourth Quarter and Fiscal Year Results
SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - Oct 27, 2014) - Franklin Resources, Inc. (the "Company") (NYSE: BEN) today announced preliminary net income1 of $640.6 million or $1.02 per diluted share for the quarter ended September 30, 2014, as compared to $578.9 million or $0.92 per diluted share for the previous quarter and $509.0 million or $0.80 per diluted share for the quarter ended September 30, 2013. Preliminary net income1 for the year ended September 30, 2014 was $2,384.3 million or $3.79 per diluted share, as compared to $2,150.2 million or $3.37 per diluted share for the previous year.
