FAIRFIELD, NJ--(Marketwired - Aug 4, 2016) - Kearny Financial Corp. (NASDAQ: KRNY) (the "Company"), the holding company of Kearny Bank (the "Bank"), today reported net income for the quarter ended June 30, 2016 of $4.9 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share. The results represent an increase of $713,000 compared to net income of $4.2 million, or $0.05 per basic and diluted share, for the prior quarter ended March 31, 2016.
