TORONTO, ONTARIO--(Marketwire - Sept. 24, 2010) - Pinetree Capital Ltd. (TSX:PNP), announces that through a series of transactions ending on September 23, 2010, it acquired ownership of 500,000 common shares ("Common Shares") of Arco Resources Corp. ("Arco") through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange, representing approximately 0.7% of the total issued and outstanding common shares of Arco as of September 23, 2010. As a result of this transaction, Pinetree held, as at September 23, 2010, an aggregate of 4,500,000 common shares of Arco, including the Common Shares and rights to acquire an additional 3,000,000 common shares of Arco upon exercise of certain convertible securities (the "Convertible Securities").
