Plaza Bank Announces Improved Financial Results for the Quarter March 31, 2013
IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Apr 18, 2013) - Plaza Bank (OTCBB: PLZB) (the "Bank") today reported unaudited net income for the first quarter of 2013 of $1,259,000, an increase of 328% compared to the prior year's first quarter net income of $294,000. Earnings per diluted share were $0.07, a 5 cent increase compared to the first quarter of 2012. Earnings were driven by a 42%, or $1.4 million, increase in net interest income over the prior year.
