Beaty, of 1550 - 625 Howe Street, Vancouver, British Columbia, V6C 2T6, today announced that on April 1, 2014, he indirectly acquired ownership of 26,640,442 common shares of Kivalliq Energy Corporation (the "Common Shares") that were previously owned by Lumina Capital Limited Partnership (the "Partnership"), pursuant to Section 2.11 of National Instrument 45-106 Prospectus and Registration Exemptions. The Common Shares represent approximately 13.95% of the total number of the then issued and outstanding common shares of Kivalliq Energy Corporation.
