Sama Resources Appoints Mr. Steven Ryan, MMG Limited's Executive General Manager-Exploration, to its Board of Directors

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Feb. 1, 2013) - Sama Resources Inc. ("Sama" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:SME) is pleased to announce that, effective immediately, Mr. Steven Ryan has been appointed a Director of the Company. Mr. Ryan is the Executive General Manager - Exploration of MMG Limited ("MMG"), a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange (Stock Code: 1208). He was appointed to the Executive Committee of MMG on its formation in June 2009 in the capacity of Executive General Manager - Exploration. He is also a director of a number of MMG's subsidiaries. The appointment of Mr. Ryan as a Director of Sama is subject to regulatory approval.
